It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nita Carol Ware in Denham Springs, Louisiana, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Nita leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Myers and Grace Robinson Beech; her brothers, Elton Myers and Roger Clyde Myers; her son James Albert Patterson Jr.; and her grandson Joseph Patterson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Hebert (Jimmy Duplessis), Tammy Perez and Juanita Howell; and her siblings, Eddie Myers (Gaye), Ronald Benjamin "Bing" Myers (Charlotte) and Diana Konczol (James). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
