She was predeceased by: her husband William Douglas Johns; her son Michael Shannon Johns; her parents, Jose Sontoyo and Concepcion Sontoyo; and her brother Francisco "Frank" Sontoyo.
She is survived by: her daughter Tiffany; her son-in-law David Ellis; her sons, Joseph Johns and David Johns; her grandchildren, Justina Conner, Erin Prince of Monica Miller, J. P, Ellis, Carlie Ellis and Olivia Ellis; her brother-in-law Carlota (Jim Goodman); her brother Joe; and her sisters-in-law, Laura Sontoyo and Joan Ferrington (Chaplain Kin Ellis). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; sister.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
