She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gibson and Frances Gibson (Wainwright). She is survived by: her husband Richard; her daughter Dawn Fairchild Fabre; her grandchildren, Larson and Laine Fabre; her son-in-law Randy Fabre; and her siblings, Pat Stevens (Barry) and Charlie Gibson (Rhonda). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Shriner's Hospital for Children, organizations that assist Disable Veterans, and First United Methodist Church Denham Springs.
