He was predeceased by: his parents, Pero Tomic and Ruža; and his daughter Slavica. He is survived by: his wife Mara; and his children, Zoran, Marko, Anto, Ružica, Jelica and Ivica. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters and their families; and many extended family.
