She was predeceased by: her stepson James R. Lucas. She is survived by: her husband James Lucas; her cousin Wanda Stafford (Gordon); and her close friends, Loretta Chandler and Tara L. Jones.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Iris, the battered women's shelter.
