Roy C. Barton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy C. Barton of Denham Springs, Louisiana, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Aubrey Barton and Annie Wilma Barton; and his brothers, Jerry Barton and Billy Barton. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Taylor Barton; his daughters, Pamela B. Savoy (John) of Denham Springs, LA, Paula B. Gillespie (Roger) of Denham Springs, LA and Penny B. Young (H. F.) of Fairmont, WV; and his grandchildren, Jacob A. Gillespie (Chelsea), Jared N. Gillespie, Austin F. Young and Aubrey R. Young. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made to Northside Baptist Church Building Fund or The American Heart Association.
