She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Barnes and Cora Poor Barnes; her grandparents, Noah and Georgia Poor; her siblings, Dale Barnes, Delores Combs and Rosella Combs; and her grandson Traynor Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Laveta F. Browning (John) of Frankfort, Kentucky, Randall L. Freeman of Dallas and Kurt L. Freeman (Kathleen) of Denham Springs, Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Emily B. Oseguera (Javier), Erin E. Browning of Frankfort, Kentucky and Tyler Freeman (Taeler) of Denham Springs, Louisiana. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Louisiana National Cemetery (303 W Mount Pleasant Rd, Zachary, LA 70791).
