He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Blount and Ella Wheat; his granddaughters, Amelia Silva and Sarah Dees; his great grandchild Sawyer Summerall; and his siblings, Henry Blount, Paul Blount, Walley Blount, Frankie Blount, Mildred Blount and Lynn Williferd.
He is survived by: his children, Houston Dees (Kacey), Dewayne Blount (Brandy), Carrie Blount, Carla Carraway (Richie), Darla McKenzie (Ronnie), Tiffany Ewing and Kelly Boudreaux (Damien); and his siblings, Norwood Blount, George Blount, Ollie Jenkins, Margaret Arnold and Lydia Blount. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
