He is survived by: his children, Daphan Salpietra (Jimmy) and Tim Truax (Robin); and his grandchildren, Joey Salpietra, Kyle Salpietra, Jamie Salpietra, Jason Fennell, Matthew Fennell and Erin Fennell Larsen. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Live Oak Church (34890 LA-16, Denham Springs, LA 70706). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Live Oak Church Cemetery (34890 LA-16, Denham Springs, LA 70706).
