He was predeceased by: his parents, Maudelle Blakey (McDaniel) and Clyde Blakey. He is survived by: his children, Laurie Martin, Amie Stanberry (Danny), Jessica Burns, Jennifer Pineirovigo (Angel), Sarah Stevens (Benjamin), Ivie Gremillion (Kevin) and Jacob Blakey (Shannon); his siblings, David Blakey, Darrell Blakey, Catherine Blakey Odom-Weeks, Glenn Blakey and Debra Hutto; his son-in-law John Martin; and his great-aunt Kuttie McDaniel. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
