She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Beckwith and Lizzie Beckwith; her siblings, Inez Wright, Carolyn Lane, Annie Stains, Norma Lee Beckwith and Barney "Barry" Beckwith; and her friends, Charlie and Ollie Faye Pickering.
She is survived by: her husband James "Boom" Hyatt; her children, Pete Hyatt (Toky) and Barbara Royer (Byrd); her grandchildren, Brandi Vander (Travis), Clay Hyatt (Shaelyn Clark) and Corey Royer (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Patrick Hyatt, Erice McDonald, Gracelynn Clark, Carrie Jarrell, Cailea Jarrell, Cayson Royer, Castynn Royer, Langston Brister and Stetson Royer; and her siblings, Joe Beckwith (Terri), Velma Frazier, Arlene Roebuck and Betty Gary.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hargrove Pentecostal Church (1079 Fields Hwy, Dequincy, LA 70633). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
