With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Suchanek (Dequincy, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2024 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Karen Gilland Ciuffetelli; his stepmother Doris Suchanek; his grandparents, William Goodman, Fern Rainwater Suchanek, Bobby Eugene Gilland and Marion June Richey Woy; and his nephew Mark Anthony Weber.

He is survived by : his wife Heather Suchanek; his children, Kendra Suchanek, Michael "Bubba" Suchanek II, Amanda Shoemake, Jessica L. "Bug" Rossetter, Brayden Thibodeaux (Sara) and Kailynn Thibodeaux; his grandchildren, Shayna, Madisyn, Kayson, Ryleigh, Peyton, Krislyn and Alayna; his father Dennis Goodman Suchanek (Anita); his stepfather John Ciuffetelli; his siblings, Jill Denise Suchanek and Mark S. Suchanek (Rhonda); and his nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Jessica, Jaylee, Kamryn and Paxton.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church (311 2nd St, Dequincy, LA 70633). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Riley Smith Memorial Park.
