He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Brooks Teeter and Crystelle Teeter; and his former wife Sharon Bonner Teeter. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Peterson-Teeter of DeQuincy; his children, Brooks Teeter of Shreveport, Rick Teeter (Michelle) of Howell, Michigan and Anne Marie Teeter (Paula) of Lake Charles; his grandchildren, Chris Willis, Rachel Price (Rhonda), Richard (Eli) and Cayenne Teeter; and his siblings, Danny Teeter (Minnie) of Russellville, Ann Pierce (Franklin) of Darien, Georgia and Jeannie Teeter of Charlotte, NC..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to DeQuincy Methodist Church or the Methodist Children's Home in Sulphur.
