We announce the death of Thomas A. Long (Dequincy, Louisiana), who passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Long and Helen Christine Schales; his siblings, Mary Long Scott, James Long and Jeffrey Long; and his niece Susan Ward.
He is survived by: his spouse Charles Brown; his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Long (Aleks Mayorge), Christy Lugo (Joey), Andy Long and Randy Ward; and his cousins, John, Monya Gott, Mike, Michelle Chapman, Greg, Melissa Thibodeaux, Brad, Ronette Levine and Penny Schales Litton. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews.
