Schales; her son Christopher Schales; her brothers, Kenneth "Bud" Scarborough and William "Bill" Scarborough; her sister-in-law Vivian Scarborough; her sister Becky Wright; her brother-in-law Richard Wright; and her grandchildren, Catlin Norred, Brendan Schales and Grant Schales.

She is survived by: her children, Douglas L. Schales (JingHui Li) of Greenwich, Connecticut, Daniel L. Schales (Tammy) of Ruston, Louisiana, Belinda Norred of DeRidder, Louisiana and Marisa Blaine (Aaron) of Many, Louisiana.; her brother Sammie Scarborough of Wildwood, MO.; her grandchildren, Peyton Schales, Ethan Schales, Lara Schales, Ashlynne Schales, Caleb Norred, Emyly Norred, Jonathan Norred, Racheal Lester (Alex), Matthew Richwine (McKenzie), Shelby Williamson (Andy), Elizabeth Richwine (Bryson Bonnett), Sha'lyne Baggs (Alex) and Kennon Richwine; and her great grandchild Stetson Lester.

Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (3261 US-171, DeRidder, LA 70634). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lewis Cemetery (313 Lewis Cemetery Rd, DeRidder, LA 70634).
