He is survived by: his mother Pauline Dowers Demeritt of DeRidder; his wife Sharon King Demeritt of DeRidder; and his children, Tish Jackson (Robert) of DeRidder, Mark Parker (Melinda) of Katy, TX, Danny Demeritt, Jr. (Tonya) of DeRidder, Teri Hollyfield (Harold) of Sulphur and Traci Weldon (Mark) of DeRidder. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a host of friends.
