With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darrell McDonald of Deridder, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2026 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua McDonald and Venoy Marshall McDonald; his wife Annette Brown McDonald; and his sisters, Gloria Garison and Sandra Cooley.
He is survived by: his children, Belinda McDonald-Paez and Darrell McDonald, Jr. (Suelly); his grandchildren, Heather McDonald Dickson (Joe Tom), Josh McDonald, Layla Paez-Ortega (Carlos) and Jose Mattison Paez; and his great grandchildren, Adrian Paez, Drew Dickson and Camila Paez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
