Frieda Green Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on July 25, 2022, at the age of 93, Frieda Green of Deridder, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Albert Oertel and Rosemarie Kohler Oertel; her brother Albert Rudolf Oertel; her husband A. J. Green; her daughter Velma Lorene Green Rogers; her son-in-law George Earl Rogers; and her grandson-in-law John Riley Davis.
She is survived by: her sisters, Annelore Anton of Friedberg and Rose Marie Helbig of Butzbach, Germany; her grandchildren, Lisa Rogers Davis of Rosepine, LA, Douglas Rogers (Trudy) of Longville, LA, Daniel Rogers (Jennifer) of DeRidder, LA and David Rogers (Courtney) of Rosepine, LA; and her great grandchildren, Katie Reynolds, Abigail Rogers, Addison Rogers, Raylan Rogers and Lucy Rogers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Frieda wishes to have donations to be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 811 U.S. Hwy 190, DeRidder, LA 70634.
