With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Joslin Sr. of Deridder, Louisiana, born in Corinth, Mississippi, who passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Joslin and Vera Maybelle Joslin; his former wife Dorothy Sharon Joslin of Rolling Fork, MS.; and his grandson Haddon Walter Joslin. He is survived by: his son Barry Clyde Joslin (Jessica) of Fort Myers, FL.; his wife Sherry Weeks Blackwell Joslin; his son Eddie Joslin (Stacey); his stepchildren, Jennifer Farris (Joshua), Jonathan Blackwell (Laura), Jodi Chandler (Cody), Joshua Blackwell (Emily) and Jill Nelson (Joshua); and his siblings, Wendell Joslin, Frank Joslin, Jack Joslin, Beth Hajeh and Terry Joslin. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and one great grandson.
