She was predeceased by: her parents, Bunky Smith Ford and Bud Ford; her siblings, Virginia Ashworth, Addie Griffin, Chloe Smith Barclay and Henry E. Ford; and her nephew Walter Barclay.
She is survived by: her children, Allison King Green and George M. King V (JoAnne); her grandchildren, Justin Young, Jaimee Mullens, Morgan Doyle, Nate Dart and Gavin LeJune; her niece Virginia Hart (Bill); her nephew Frank Griffin; her great-niece Karri Choate (Bobby); Ben Choate and Lincoln Choate. She is also survived by numerous other family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home - DeRidder (2110 US-171, DeRidder, LA 70634). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Whitaker Cemetery (1300 LA-26, DeRidder, LA 70634).
