She was predeceased by: her father Ray Murphy. She is survived by: her husband Duane Bailey; her children, Dillon, Joel, Meaghan and Connor; her mother Carol Murphy; and her siblings, Carey McAdoo, Kevin Murphy, Clint McAdoo, Adrian Bailey, Lori Bailey, Danica Williams, Williams, Kristen Pitts and Sue Bailey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Myers Colonial Funeral Home (3178 US-190, DeRidder, LA 70634). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

“The news of Mrs. Bailey's passing was a deeply sad moment for the DHS community, and especially for her former students. Her memory, however, remains vibrant in the lessons she taught and the care she showed. During the 2024-2025 school year, she guided her algebra students with a combination of wisdom and kindness that went beyond the textbook. The positive impact she had in her classroom and on her students is her enduring legacy, and for that, she will be fondly remembered and dearly missed. Mrs. Bailey, a math teacher at DHS, made a significant impact on my understanding of algebra. Her patient approach to teaching complex concepts helped me to overcome challenges I faced in the subject. In her classroom, she fostered a supportive atmosphere where learning from mistakes was encouraged. She consistently guided me, instilling confidence in my ability to grasp mathematical principles. Her influence at DHS is lasting, evident in the numerous students she empowered, including myself. Natalie St.Romain student at Deridder High School”
