We announce the death of Lawrence Lee Kelting of Deridder, Louisiana, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 91. Lawrence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Lawrence will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Lawrence will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Lawrence’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Larry" Kelting and Isabelle Kelting; and his sister Marlene Ann Fuhrman. He is survived by: his wife Judy Bunce; and his children, Kristen Fuller (David) of Rockwall, Kyle Kelting (Lori) of Amarillo and Kerin Morris (Millard) of DeRidder, Louisiana.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Myers Colonial Funeral Home (3178 US-190, DeRidder, LA 70634). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
