He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Manning and Yvonne Manning; his sisters, Dorthy Singleton and Darlene Jenkins; and his sister-in-law Dianne Manning.

He is survived by: his wife Murilene Manning of DeRidder, LA.; his brother Ronnie Manning; his daughter Ladonna Hicks; his stepdaughters, Debra Johnson and Kathy Gill; his grandchildren, Dusty Gill, Patrick Gill, Kim Escobedo and Abby Landry; his great grandchildren, Lakyn West, Kenzi Brown, Trey Lanclos, Ethan, Emma Gill, Jet Gill and Harper Landry; and his great great grandchildren, Harper and Tucker Brown.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Myers-Colonial Funeral Home (3178 US-190, DeRidder, LA 70634). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Myers Colonial Funeral Home (3178 US-190, DeRidder, LA 70634). A burial was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at the Shiloh Baptist Cemetery.
