She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Piper (Donald), Chester Thompson Jr. (Beverly), Irwin Thompson, Roderick P. Thompson (Melissa), Velvet Johnson (Troy) and Faith Scott (Marceliers); her brothers, Alonzo Spikes and Lawrence J. Norris; and her nephew Elder David Buckley Jr. (I. C.). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
