She was predeceased by: her husband Kearby Ellis; her son Joey Ellis; her parents, Benjamin Harper and Dora Harper; and her sister Verlie Ford.

She is survived by: her children, Billy Ellis of Westlake, LA, B. C. Ellis of Rosepine, LA, Craig Ellis (Anita) and Mary James (Rusty); her grandchildren, William Ellis, James Ellis, Justin Ellis, Kaycie Golightly, Kile James, Kevin James and David Reynolds; and her great grandchildren, Atleigh, Zoey, Kaylan, Austin and Abigail. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
