He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Abigail Scarbrough; his parents, Willie Scarbrough and Rosalee Scarbrough; and his siblings, Nelson Scarbrough, Joe Scarbrough and Shirley Peterson.

He is survived by: his wife Bonita Scarbrough of DeRidder, LA; and his children, Eddie Wellman (Katy), Dereke Wellman of DeRidder, LA, Ethan Scarbrough of DeRidder, LA, Misty Zimmerman (Steven), Alisha Stout (Ricky) and Miranda Ledet (Josh). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
