He is survived by: his wife Juanita Maddox of DeRidder; his children, Thomas Maddox (Katie) of Sulphur and Jackie Maddox Johnson (Clay) of DeRidder; his sister Cherri Galbiate; his grandchildren, Macie Maddox, Hallie Maddox, Grant Maddox, Karli Maddox, Ashley Johnson, Matthew Johnson and Breanna Hatsfelt (Eric); and his great grandchild Harper Hatsfelt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home - DeRidder (2110 US-171, DeRidder, LA 70634). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Throughout his 30-year career in education, he received numerous awards and recognitions for his outstanding contributions to teaching and coaching.
