It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olevia Sanders (Deridder, Louisiana), who passed away on June 18, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Charlotte Brown; her son David; her siblings, Alphonso, Patsy, Ethel, William, Israel, Cora and Louis; her niece Oster Lee Griffin; her grandson Makau Crawford; and her great grandchildren, Travon Bickham and Kenard Brooks.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Sanders; and her children, Esther Mae Sanders, JC Sanders (Ida), Doris Coleman (Booker, Sr.), Emmett Sanders (Vanilla), Buddy Sanders (Ollie), Willie Mae Mazion (Edward), Steve Sanders, Jr. (Alesia) and Michael Sanders (Bridget). She is also survived by grandkids, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws.
