He is survived by: his children, Georgia, Rufus Piper, Jr. (Priscilla) of Zachary, Vicky Piper Simmons (Anthony) of Bonaire and Isaiah Sowells of Sebastopol, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Tar-Kisha Piper Poole, Alphonso Piper Jr. Brandy Piper, Artia Piper Nelson, Jeffrey Mann, Alkia Piper Richardson, Antron Piper Sr., Treasure Piper Baker, Brittany Pope, Tamika Piper, Maletta Humphries Kokoricha, Quinnetta Humphries, Omar Crawford, Hannah Simmons, Johnathan Simmons and Josiah Simmons; his sister Isadora Piper; his cousin Nette; his friend Angela; his goddaughter Bonita; his siblings, Jimmy, Charles (Ron Roberts) and JoAnn; and his daughter Brenda Maxie Isler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (306 George Dr, DeRidder, LA 70634). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (306 George Dr, DeRidder, LA 70634). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Community Cemetery.
