It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Miller (Deridder, Louisiana), who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Anna Jo Williams; his parents, Robert Lee and Adella Miller; his grandson Tomel Herny; and his siblings, Ocie Lee Freeman, Kenneth E. Miller, Melvin E. Miller, Sr., Darnell Miller, Collins Miller and Venton Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Miller; his children, Thomas Steve Miller Jr. (Jennifer), Zelma Silas, Ramona Miller and Mia P. Miller; his grandchildren, Terri Herny, Rohan Brown, Anna Brown and Malim Muskelly; his great grandchildren, Nakira Herny, Tomel Miller, Jr., Billy Herny, Trindy Herny and Nahriah Muskelly; and his siblings, Vonnie Miller and Lonnie Miller.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church (1326 Muldrow St, DeRidder, LA 70634). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
