He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Edmund Bowman and Jonell Walker Bowman; and his siblings, Reedus Bowman, Martin David Bowman, Dennis Bowman, Joe Bowman, Jimmie Olen Bowman, Edna Wilson, Annie Bowman and Jeanette Bowman.
He is survived by: his sons, Chad Johnson (Carly) and Trevor Bowman; his granddaughter Finley Johnson; his siblings, Claytis Bowman, Rayborn Bowman, Johnny Coaston, Kenneth Paul, Thomas James, Inez Case, Ellette Bowman, BJ Bowman Fincher and Deborah Ramarez; and his nephews, Blake and Quenton Fincher. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Myers Colonial Funeral Home (3178 US-190, DeRidder, LA 70634). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
