She was predeceased by: her significant other Franklin D. Carpenter; her parents, T. C. Young and Myrtis Young; and her grandmother Harriet Murphy. She is survived by: her daughters, Vivian Smith (Chester) of Merryville and Jessica Stephens (Mark) of DeRidder, Louisiana; her brother Ezra Young (Patsy) of DeRidder, Louisiana; her grandson Allen Smith (Karlie); and her great grandchildren, Laramie, Karmen and Koulter Smith.
