He was predeceased by: his father Benson Weighlon Sylvest, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Zachary Sylvest and Zoe Sylvest; his mother Della Sylvest; his siblings, Benny Sylvest (Peggy), Tammie Potts (Chuck), Benson Weighlon Sylvest, Jr. (Sherry) and Pamela Sylvest; and his grandchildren, Kirkland and Nova. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
