We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2024, at the age of 75, Richard Lee Johnson of Des Allemands, Louisiana, born in Norton, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Lee Johnson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his daughter Brooke Anne Matlock; his parents, Andrew Johnson, Jr. and Evelyn P. Johnson; and his brothers, Bobby Lester and Andrew C. Johnson, III.

He is survived by : his wife Teresa P. Johnson; his children, Robert Hopkins (Stacey) and Amy Thibodeaux (Kris Hardwick); his grandchildren, Heather Nicole Hopkins, Ava Brooke Thibodeaux, Owen Charles Thibodeaux and Mackenzie Nicole Hardwick; and his nieces and nephews, Amanda Champagne, Blair Champagne, Andrew Lester and Bobby Lester, Jr.. He is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews and other family members.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Falgout Funeral Home (3838 LA-1, Raceland, LA 70394). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers donations to Wounded Warrior Project are preferred.
