He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Sayre and Frances Sayre. He is survived by: his wife Terri Lewis Sayre; his daughter Katherine Sayre of Los Angeles; and his friend Alan.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
