He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Byrd Gaspard; his son Roshawn Matthews; and his siblings, Catherine Williams, Elizabeth Lawrence (Morris), Jacqueline Gaspard, Janice Joseph (Nathaniel), Debra Gaspard, Darryl Gaspard, Bruce Gaspard (Miriam), Douglas Gaspard (Mona), David Gaspard and Johnell Gaspard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
