He is survived by: his son Carlton Reed Harmson; his granddaughter Heavenly Grace Harmson; his mother Vernell McCarty; his brothers, Keith Harmson (Penny), Dassen Harmson, Eric Harmson, Ray Ray Harmson (Miranda), George McCarty Jr. and Alan McCarty; and his pet Hank.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the BIG Island Baptist Church (1409 LA-1206, Deville, LA 71328). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
