He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Harrison LaPrairie, Jr. and Dianne K. Deville LaPrairie; his grandparents, Edgar, Aurelia LaPrairie, Riley and Janie Deville; and his great-niece Emma Grace LaPrairie.
He is survived by: his sister Ramona LaPrairie; his nephew Erin "E. J." LaPrairie; his goddaughter LaDonna "Monkey" LaPrairie; and his great-niece Breana "Jack" LaPrairie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM and at 10:55 PM at the New Hope Free Methodist Church (1178 LA-1206, Deville, LA 71328).
