He was predeceased by: his father Donald Wade, Sr.; his grandparents, Donald K. Wade, Jean Jones, Orvil Wayne Vercher and Frances Wilson; his stepgrandfather John David Avery; and his pet Star.

He is survived by: his mother Sharon Vercher Johnson (Jamie Gauthier); his brothers, Donald "D. J." Wade, Jr. and Joshua Wade; and his uncle George "Steve" Wilson. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.

Through his decision to donate his organs, he became a hero, ensuring that his spirit will live on by saving the lives of many others.
