With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tim Olten Laprarie of Deville, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Diane Marie Bordelon Laprarie; his parents, Sam W. Laprarie and Belle Tyler Laprarie; and his siblings, Roy, Azery, Leo, Fred, Sam Jr., Alvin, Franklin, Alma, Mildred and Aleen.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy M. Laprarie of Deville; his children, Pamela S. Carroll (James) of Denham Springs and David S.; his grandchildren, Mindi Walker, Matthew Laprarie (Bayli), Logan Laprarie (Peyton) and Abbey Carroll; his great grandchildren, Drake, Karter Eastyn, Eli, Masyn and Emmerson; his great great grandchildren, Braylon and Westyn; and his sister Myrte Broderick.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Richey Baptist Church (999 Effie Hwy, Deville, LA 71328). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests plants or donations to the church.
