He was predeceased by: his parents, William Loran McFarland and Esther Townsend McFarland; and his siblings, G. T. McFarland, William Loran McFarland, Jr., Loran McFarland, Bobby Joe McFarland, Lester McFarland Wheeler, Troy V. McFarland, Jackie Lynn McFarland, John T. McFarland, Samuel Dale McFarland, Wardell Gray, Marjorie Garrison and Cleo Kavanaugh.
He is survived by: his siblings, Myra McFarland Lang of Winnfield, Nancy McFarland Gordon, Thelma McFarland, Charles McFarland (Delores) and Pete McFarland (Debbie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Zion Hill Baptist Church (1272 Tannehill Rd, Winnfield, LA 71483). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
