She was predeceased by : her parents, Aline Becnel (Zeringue) and Bernard Becnel; and her great-niece Lauren Guidry. She is survived by : her husband Bruce Robert; her children, Brandi Sambola (Joseph), Ryan Robert (Valerie) and Courtney Hebert (Brenton); and her granddaughters, Cecelia, Charlotte Sambola (Brandi), Teresa and Audrey Robert (Ryan). She is also survived by ten siblings and numerous godchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
