He is survived by: his wife Laura Cassard Werner; his pet Cooper; his children, Robin, Penny, Debbie, Jeri and Kasie; and his siblings, Peggy, Terry, Brenda, Shelley, Mel, Kerry and Bill. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ourso Funeral Home (134 Houmas St, Donaldsonville, LA 70346). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
