She was predeceased by: her son Doug Fulkerson; her former husband Glen Fulkerson; her husband Lonnie Sparks; her parents, Theophile Himel and Josephine Himel; and her siblings, Beatrice Walker, Marie Palermo, Rita Mae Goetz, Jeanne Darcie, Cynthia Goetz, Joyce Diez, AJ Himel, O'Neil Himel and Linwood Himel.

She is survived by: her sons, Glen Fulkerson (Dorian), Nick Fulkerson (Kati) and Johnathan Fulkerson; and her siblings, Connie Thibodaux, Catherine Ward, Larry Himel, Leroy Himel and Leo Himel (Brenda). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
