He is survived by: his wife Debra Whitaker; his parents, Rosa Lee and Allen Whitaker, Sr.; his sons, Johnathan, Alvin Jermaine, Lionel Peter and Michael Jerome Batiste; his siblings, Allen, Jr., Malcolm, Kelvin Whitaker (Renita), Linda, Glenda and Cassandra Whitaker; and his uncle Samuel Link. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
