He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Toups and Rita LeBlanc Toups; his brothers, Donnie Jean Toups and Darrel John Toups Sr.; his parents-in-law, Gilbert Besson and Genieve Albarado Besson; his son-in-law Todd Bourgeois; his brother-in-law Ricky Besson; his niece Christina Shavor; and his nephews, Daniel Shavor, Jeremy Besson and Todd Toups.
He is survived by: his wife Susanne Albarado Toups; his children, Lisa Aizen (Freddie), Chad Toups (Michelle Gautreaux), Jennifer Turner (Joshua) and Brandy Toups (Korey LeBlanc); his granddaughter Kristen Arabie (Thomas Stutts); his children, Kaitlyn Boudreaux (Travis Bergeron), Breanna Hebert (Steven) and Mckenzie Bourgeois (Tyler Prados); his great grandchildren, Skylynn Blanchard, Sawyer Boudreaux, Ellie Rae Hendon, Maverick Stutts of Steven, Hebert Jr. and Stella Sue Hebert; and his sister Beverly Shavor (Michael). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church - Chacahoula (2128 Bull Run Rd, Schriever, LA 70395).
