He was predeceased by : his parents, Jessie Long and Hazel Long; his brothers, Elzie Long and Billy Wayne Long; and his daughter Allyson Lynn Long.

He is survived by : his brother Richard Long (Sandy); and his nephews, Stephen Long and David Long.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Holmesville Baptist Church, 301 Holmesville Rd., Downsville, Louisiana 71234.
