With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Yates of Doyline, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Yates and Violet Morgan; his sister Belda Olguin; and his children, Rocky Yates and Amanda Yates.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Doran Yates; his daughter Sandra Yates Berry; his grandchildren, Chelsea Gregory, Gasper Riggio Jr., Ray Riggio, Annette Gary, Loring Marie Williams, Christopher Giovanni and Joseph Pusloskie; and his sisters, Becky Crepelle (Jules), Linda Gorman and JoDee Morgan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
