He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Cleveland Cobb and Grace Alma Cobb; his siblings, Dorothy Bybee, Cleo Sweeney, Cathey Ramsey and Willie Cobb; his sons, William Cobb, Jr. and Robert Cobb; and his grandsons, Billy Alexander Cobb, Christopher Pennell and Nathan Robert Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Cobb; his children, Jeanna Cobb Sulzer (Troy) and Jonathan Lee Cobb (Mia); and his siblings, Kerry Thibodeax (Ronnie), Janice Cobb, Jo Jawaski and Jerry Cobb (Donna). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home & Park (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the West Lake Baptist Church Cemetery (2587 LA-163, Doyline, LA 71023).
