With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brodus Jean (Dry Creek, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Christine Jean; his son James Darrell Jean; and his siblings, Annie Rose, Henry Randolph, Harvey Marshall, Robert Thelton, Joseph Kenneth and Mary Francis.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Hill, Kevin Jean (Alysia) and Patrick Jean (Heather); and his brother Gordon Jean (Roxanna). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
